June 2009

To the families at Centennial Christian Academy,

What a fantastic school year we have just finished. As we look forward to the 2009/10 school year we ask for God's continued blessings. The staff and board of CCA thank each family for your support this past year. God has certainly blessed us these past four years and we look forward with anticipation and excitement to the great things God has in store.

Let me highlight some aspects of CCA this past year.

Academics:
The students at CCA continue to achieve at the highest level. The CCA 3-6 graders scores on the SAT tests given in April were as follows:
----------------------------------------------------------Critical Reading--------------Total Math
Public School average-----------------------------------497---------------------------510
Religious School average-------------------------------532---------------------------531
CCA average-----------------------------------------------661---------------------------654

These fantastic results can be attributed to the great students, teachers, parents, and our challenging curriculum.
In addition to the core subjects the Specials area of Art, Drama, Music, Computers and Physical Education enhances the total program in the development of the student. The Chapels, on Tuesday mornings, gives our students an in-depth study of God's Word and how it shapes the student's daily living. Everyday questions that children have about God are explored. Christ like character is the foundation upon which all the other areas of the daily life of our students are shaped. Respect for God, Country, Family and their fellow students are paramount at CCA.

Contributing to the ongoing work of CCA is all of the hard work of the volunteers Gods given us in many areas of need. The PTO is a critical part of the success of Centennial Christian Academy. What a blessing the volunteers and PTO are to the ongoing ministry of CCA.

What a terrific program we have at CCA. I believe more students and families, in the area, need to be aware of the great blessing it is to have a Christian education at CCA.
If you agree with CCA that your school is special it is very important for the well-being of the entire school to invite prospective families to visit CCA this summer. Full enrollment allows us to spread the costs for running CCA across a larger group of families allowing us to keep tuition lower. In this difficult economy we realize that tuition will be a struggle for some families as we work hard each year to keep our tuition affordable.

So please tell your friends about the great programs we have at CCA. Families of our current and past students are our most successful vehicle in telling others about CCA.

CCA is looking forward to a 2009/2010 school year that honors God in the development of your student. Have a Great Summer and see you in August. CCA is excited about the great year God has planned for us.

Thank you and God Bless;
